Today is my school's art festival. Participants include students from various primary and secondary school studentsof the same cluster as my school. I had a hard time choosing a workshop which suits me the most because some of the workshops have already been full. In the end, I registered for the Batik painting workshop. I had trouble doing my work because I was not sure what to draw at first but in the end, I thought of drawing an imaginary self-portrait. The hardest part was waxing the outlines of my drawing. I could not control the flow of the wax and nearly damaged my own hardwork, I even scalded my hand by accident but luckily there was not any wound. The easiest part came when it comes to painting my work. All I need to do is to blend in the colours in my work but I had trouble looking for the right colour. The end result was better than expected except for the minor spills of wax on my work.

Today is quite a busy day for me. I went to Peirce Secondary School together with Marcus, Faith, Nadya and Rauf for a workshop which is about Innovation. What was taught during the seminar helps us when it comes to planning events for my school, thus, I find this seminar quite educational and productive. The busiest part comes when my group members and myself need to brainstorm for innovative ideas to carry out the school's annual PHrenZ (pronounced as friends) Carnival. My team members were cooperative an hence, we managed to do and finish our tasks fast. That was the most enjoyable part. The workshop lasted for seven hours (from 9am to 4pm). The pictures I have taken below, shows some of our works we produced during the busy but fun workshop.
During the workshop, we also had a game called "Village". I was chosen as one of the two vampires and I am not sure who are the other two students who have been chosen as the vampire slayer. The roles of vampire and vampire slayer were given to us secretly through a tap code while everyone had their eyes closed. The game ends when either two vampires or two vampire slayers ended up in the graveyard. Being the vampire or vampire slayer is fun because you get to secretly choose who to kill, but sadly, during the game, the vampire slayers killed many innocent villagers instead of the vampires. That was the funniest part. Ok I admit, I was "killed" by the vampire slayer in the end... ...

Long live Arsenal F.C.! Long live football! Arsenal completed all its matches for this season and got third in overall position! Well, too bad I did not get to watch any of the matches played by Arsenal, I was doing revision and preparing for exams. Argh, talk about exams, the damage cannot be repaired unless I beat my opponent in the common test next term. I just hope that in the next season, Arsenal will do better and form its own winning streak. Once again, long live Arsenal F.C.!

Yesterday I watched wrestling until about 10:30pm. Gosh, Edge vs the Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship Title. I wish The Undertaker will tombstone Edge and take back the World Heavyweight championship Title. Speaking of WWE, yesterday afternoon I played WWE Survivor Series 2007 on PS2 with my brother. I did not know my brother was a good player, his fingers were like punching all the buttons furiously while I am at a lost. Well, my brother won obviously. Quite a bad match I had on that game. I bet my friend, Eugene, can play better than my brother. Till now I had no mood to play online games, sometimes I play a little. Well, nothing much to write though.

Today's PET Rocket event was EXTREMELY fun! All hells really broke loose! For this event, I teamed up with my best friend and it took us about 30 minutes to finish constructing our PET rocket. During the launching, all rockets are filled with water, with I was not sure about the reasons at first, and placed on a launcher. The fun part begins when the rocket blasted off and the students got wet! Yeah, I got wet too because I was doing the launching while my friend was doing the pumping to pump air inside the rocket. My rocket failed to hit the target zone, sigh, but it managed to fly like a missile! By the end of this event, my uniform was completely wet but luckily I wore my P.E. T-shirt underneath it, whew! All wet, but had lots of fun!

Today I received my results. It was a total nightmare, I lost to the top student of the class again! I was devastated. I thought I can do well this SA1 because it was my chance to regain back what I lost. Yes I risked my health, I risked my knowledge and I risked all I got with me in the exams hoping to emerge victorious as before, however, this time it turned out otherwise. I am not sure what happened to me, why have I become an academically weaker student out of a sudden. I had to surrender what I have earned in the last exam to another student who had beaten me in this exam. My only hope is that the coming SA2 in October, I will DEFEAT the student who took away my the place I am vying for and earn back that very place in the class and in the whole school. I will show him or her No Mercy in the SA2 examinations......Tomorrow is my school’s annual PET Rocket event for the Secondary 3 cohort! The day I have been waiting for is finally here! I heard from my seniors that this event is EXTREMELY fun, even my teacher mentioned: “All hells break loose….” I cannot wait to launch my rocket tomorrow and I hope that it will fly like a nuclear missile. I thought it could help make me feel better from the damage done from my results.

Yo readers! ! It’s been so long since I have put my last entry on my blog! Exams are over, finally, the day I have been waiting for!
