Yo yo yo! It has been a long time since I've last updated my blog. This holiday has been a busy period so far, got lots of holiday homework to complete and have to go down to NUS occasionally to complete the nanoscience research project. This is where time-management is of the essence.
Last week, from Monday to Wednesday, my leg muscles were cramped from the 14km night-trek (from West-Coast Park to Marina Bay which lasts from 0030hrs to 0630hrs) I had from the NYAA-ODAC Camp. Though it was tiring, there was a great sense of achievement among the campers. It was lucky that we didn't got ambushed by the monkeys again at Hort Park. (we got ambushed once there during an Amazing Race) Yeah, I'm serious, ambushed. It was a great night experience to be able to see Singapore in the wee-hours. As we walk through Hort park, to Mount Faber, to Kent-Ridge, before reaching Marina Bay to see the Sun-rise, we had a whole new perspective of Singapore.
Yeah, so due to my cramped leg muscles, from Monday to Wednesday, I had to confine myself within my room and mug. At times, when I pass-by the computer, while my brother is using it, I would log-on to Facebook.
Yesterday, I went for soccer training. But sadly, no one was willing to teach me new skills to make it into the first team. Sigh, am I condemned to only being a pathetic reserve??? Well, at least i get to sit down throughout the entire match... ...
Christmas is around the corner, only 19 more days, hope to complete all my holiday assignments before Christmas so that i can enjoy this festive season. Well, that's all folks.
P.S. As a Real Madrid fan in BBVA La Liga, I'm still "suffering" from shock by Real's 0-5 defeat to Barcelona.

Yoz! Happy Lunar New Year to all my family members and friends. May all of you guys stay healthy and be happy. Well, just like last year, tommorrow, actually later today, my house will be packed with all my relatives gathering to celebrate CNY with my family. It's gonna be a jam-packed day and my parents have been very busy for the past few days in preparation for the celebrations. With more relatives = more Red Packets...LOL :D Actually, what's most important is the family warmth and spirit. The year of the Tiger has arrived. May 2010 be a good year, even better than 2009. 新年快乐,恭喜发财!祝大家身体健康,年年有愉:)

Yo yo yo! I've been posted to Anderson Junior College! WOOOOOOOOTS! I chose that college because it is near my home and it is a reputable campus. The strange thing is that MOE text my posting results so early in the morning, like about 6:35am when I am still half asleep. But anyway, I jumped out of bed after knowing my posting results and could not continue sleeping..lol! However, by entering my desired college, I have a price to pay. That is I had to be mentally prepared to work my head off with little sleep and little time for leisure. I must work very hard from now on to excel in JC and meet up the various expectations to achieve my goals. Stress is inevitable, but before you know it, 2 years have gone by in a flash and we are back to worrying for our A level results. LOL! Well, hopefully I can also enter the Climbing Club as my CCA, otherwise, I'll just join something else which suits my interests.
It is also a sad occasion for me because this formally marks the end of my secondary school life. I have countless of memories good and bad from my 4-year journey in BPSS. I'll miss the teachers, my classmates/friends and my close buddies in CCA who have gone through thick and thin again. Also, a special thanks to our seniors who have inspired us through their academic achievements. Though we go our separate paths, we shall keep in touch! Thank you guys for making secondary school life so memorable for us! HIStory begins here.... ....

At this point of time, all of us should be aware of the situation at Haiti. The earthquake of magnitude 7.0 that had destroyed homes, infrastructure and lives of the people there. This is a time when we show that we care for those in need, so let's do what we can to help the people at Haiti and contribute to the re-building and the re-development of the country. May Haiti become a much more better place and the locals become much stronger in future.... ....

Yo yo yo! Yesterday, I went for a soccer tutorial and the whether was terrible! The scorching heat from the Sun made me, as well as the other players in the field, tanned yesterday. It was so hot that I thought that we might as well sun-tan instead of playing. I just went out into the field to do a short warm-up and I returned to the shelter all sweaty. You can, indeed, expect us to be drenched in sweat by the time we finished playing. Today, I have muscle-aches but not as bad as before which is a good sign.
Last night was a bad night for Arsenal fans after Arsenal lost to Stoke City with a score of 1-3. This officially eliminated Arsenal from the FA Cup Tournament. *Gosh*, I never expected such results as Arsenal always wins Stoke City. T.T The next match for Arsenal would be held this Wednesday against Aston Villa, hopefully Arsenal will perform even better during that very important match... ...Currently, Arsenal is second in the league wth one game in hand.

WOOOOOOOOOTS! Splendid news reported from the Emirates Stadium! Arsenal had beaten Bolton Wanderers with a score of 4-2 and this allowed Arsenal to climb to the top of the League Table! This is a big achievement for The Gunners. However, Chelsea, currently second in place, has one game in hand. Thus, it will not be long before Chelsea regains its top spot in the Table unless it loses its next match (which is a small possibility). As Arsene Wenger stated, the next 4 matches are crucial for Arsenal given Arsenal's current position. Arsenal is now very close to winning the cup this season, a feat last achieved by the 'INVINCIBLES' during the season of 2002-2003! Arsenal keep that spirit of perseverance on, we still have a long way to go! Another big news came yesterday about Manchester United losing to Manchester City with a score of 1-2 at the Old Trafford Stadium.
League Table: 1. Arsenal 2. Chelsea (one game in hand) 3. Manchester United 4.Tottenham Hotspur 5. Manchester City (one game in hand) 6. Liverpool 7. Aston Villa (one game in hand)

Yo yo yoz! One week seems to have flew by very quickly! I can still remember that during this time, last week, I was very nervous for my O-level results. Now most of my troubles which have been bothering me for the past two months are out of my mind! At least I can now enjoy in peace, for now. Last Wednesday, I attended a small-group outing by the Apache members from Red Camp and my class outing the following day. Both outings were equally enjoyable. But my biggest regret was to not be able to attend the chalet gathering organised by my class last Friday because I had something on! Argh! I missed all the fun... ...:( Had submitted my JAE form last week, now I pray hard that I am able to get into my desired tertiary education institution... ...
I watched two soccer matches last night from 11pm till 2pm. The match between Aston Villa and West Ham was first. I was surprised that Aston Villa vs West Ham led to a draw of 0-0. I thought Aston Villa was gonna win West Ham with at least one goal given Aston Villa's recent rise in standards! But still, its better than losing... ... Ashton commented that West Ham played rough and I totally agree, this resulted in 3 players from West Ham getting yellow cards. A fight nearly broke out between both sides, but luckily, the ref was able to defuse the situation before the fight turns violent. The match was totally exciting with a couple of near goals, my heart was beating rapidly during the entire course of the match. But in the end, Aston Villa remains sixth in position in the league table.
Arsenal match against Bolton came next. Fabregas returned from a hamstring injury and was finally able to play. Like Aston Villa's match, fights nearly broke out during the match and as usual, the ref came to save the day. I don't know why heated fights happened during two matches on the same day. But, anyway, Arsenal won Bolton with a score of 2-0 with goals scored by Fabregas and Merida. Now Arsenal is three points away from Chelsea and if the former wins the next match against Bolton again, it would become first in position in the league table. Jia you Arsenal!

Yoz, today was the day when the O-level results are issued. Congratulations to Guan Yenan for getting 7 points for L1R5 and topping the cohort with 7 distinctions in my school. The photos of the issuing of O-level results can be seen in my FaceBook account. It is open for everyone to view. If you wanna know my results, you guys can message me and I'll tell you personally. Nearly fainted when I saw my results. I am very happy for the 4E/5N batch of 2009 as our batch have performed better than last year's batch. 4E1, you guys are impressive and I'll never forget you. With that, I salute you guys and wish all of you the very best for your bright future. I'd like to thank all my teachers who have taught me over the years for making me who I am today and I would also love to thank my parents for their never ending support for me when I am troubled. Without my teachers and parents, I wouldn't be what I am today. May god bless all of you as well as my friends who made my secondary school life memorable and fun! My parents rewarded me with a surprise which surprised me! They got me the Arsenal home-ground jersey which I had always wanted so badly!! OMG, I nearly broke into tears when I saw it. Thank you very much Mum and Dad :)
Gosh, Arsenal vs Everton match last week lead to a draw of 2-2. I thought Arsenal was gonna win Everton. This shows that Everton is more stronger than originally thought! But Arsenal remains third in position in the league table, whew!

Yoz! As I was bored at home, I decided to look through the history of Arsenal. The 2003-2004 period was one of the most splendid period in Arsenal's history. The team played 38 games in that season, won 26 and drawn 12 games, without losing any matches. The players in the team at that time were given the title of "INVINCIBLES" and their winning streak made history for English Football League. Here is a video of the "INVINCIBLES"
P.S. Like other Arsenal Fans, I miss the good old times when Arsenal kept winning matches after matches.

Yoz! The past three days have been exciting with great programmes which got my attention. Last Friday, Channel 5 aired Michael Jackson "HIStory World Tour: Live In Copenhagen" performed on August 14th 1997 at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen. Total attendance was 45,000 (Full House). It is a totally awesome concert, even better than his "Dangerous World Tour", so it is a must-watch concert for all Michael Jackson fans! Here are some videos of his best performances during the concert.
1) Song Title: Scream
2) Song Title: They Don't Care About Us + In The closet
3)Song Title: Smooth Crimminal
4) Song Title: Billie Jean
5) Song Title: Dangerous
6)Song Title: Black or White
7) Song Title: History (Finale)
Of course, after the concert was over, they also aired this teaser which MJ used to promote his HIStory Album.
Last night was also an exciting night for soccer fans. For a start, we had Manchester United vs Leeds United. Manchester United got owned when Leeds United won with a 1-0 victory and 1 goal scored on Leeds side by Beckford. Next, we had West Ham vs Arsenal. Arsenal won with a 2-1 victory with goals scored by Ecuardo and Ramsey. Currently, Arsenal stands at thrid position in the Premier League Table with one game in hand. Hope Arsenal is able to be first this season and win the cup, they are not far... ...
